Original effective date: January 1, 2012. Last updated: September 15, 2026.
Our commitment to privacy
Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We make this notice available from every page of the website and wherever personally identifiable information may be requested.
Information we collect
The appointment form may collect your name, phone number, email address, optional vehicle information (including a VIN if you choose to provide it), selected service area, message, and consent. When a form is submitted, we may also record its source page, referring page, campaign parameters, browser information, and network address to understand the request, prevent abuse, and support follow-up. The website records a random session identifier, pages viewed, and phone-link clicks so the shop can measure total visits and leads. This first-party measurement does not create a cross-site advertising profile. The server may also temporarily process a one-way hash derived from a network address to enforce rate limits. Please do not submit payment-card details, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through the form.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to your request, discuss vehicle service, operate and secure the website, measure site and lead activity, and meet applicable legal obligations. Return email addresses are used to answer messages we receive. We do not use appointment-form information in ways unrelated to these purposes without providing an opportunity to opt out where appropriate.
Retention
Form messages are retained for up to 90 days unless they are needed longer for an active service matter, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, or a legal obligation. First-party site activity may be retained for up to 400 days. Rate-limit records expire automatically within approximately one hour.
Sharing
We do not share submitted information with outside parties except as needed to respond to your request, operate the website, comply with law, or protect rights and security. Form data is delivered through the shop’s configured email provider and may be processed by hosting, network, and email service providers that support the website.
Our commitment to data security
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures intended to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and support the appropriate use of information collected online. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information through this website from children under 13.
Accessing or correcting your information
To request access, export, correction, or deletion of form information, call (210) 342-1342 or write to Wizard Automotive at 1115 Basse Rd, San Antonio, TX 78212. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may retain information where legally permitted or required.
Updates and contact
We may update this notice as website practices change. The date above identifies the current version. For questions or concerns about this privacy policy, call (210) 342-1342.
